You will be responsible for administering the site maintenance performance, arranging and enhancing attempts to guarantee high plant accessibility and execution inside endorsed spending plans. Role & Responsibilities:

Report directly to the Plant Manager as Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Dealing with every operational part of the facility and procedures on site, including the techniques and association of work, including enlistment, induction, evaluation and training of Maintenance Staff as per the company’s strategies
  • Guarantee that the plant works within the prerequisites of the Environmental Permit and all other Environmental Legislation
  • Preparing a yearly financial plan for the Operations Department for audit and along these lines work within the endorsed plan
  • Proposing changes to advance operational productivity and cost viability
  • Ensuring consent with the organization's Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems, Policies and Procedures, guaranteeing that frameworks are set up to keep up safe frameworks of work for the organization and temporary workers staff
  • Create and routinely survey arranged support plans and the site lifecycle maintenance plan
  • Audit plant absconds, creating recommendations for alterations where proper, to keep up plant unwavering quality and accessibility
  • Supervising advancement of Stores Systems, Management Systems, H&S methods and the CMM framework to improve the association of all aspects of the maintenance work
  • Planning and overseeing arranged maintenance outages, including detail of work, quality control and coordination between all parties included

  • Contributing to the Management 'Backup' rota to cover any crisis circumstance that may emerge

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A candidate educated with HND/ HNC in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Must possess a robust process engineering background, ideally within the power industry including steam raising plant
  • Management experience in W2E steam raising plants is desirable
  • Qualified with H&S to IOSH Managing Safely level
  • Qualified with NEBOSH would be advantageous
  • Experienced preparing detailed reports, plans and programs
  • Pressure Systems, PSSR/ PED; HV electrical systems; budgeting; working under CDM regulations; managing operational teams, shift rotas, resource planning knowledge is desirable
  • Skilled in overseeing contractual workers and consultant
  • Knowledgeable with the management of site environmental permits in accordance with IED would be advantageous
