AD Plant Manager

Green Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking an AD Plant Manager.

You will be responsible for the day to day operation of an Anaerobic Digestion facility, ensuring that the plant functions efficiently and effectively, whilst maximising plant performance.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensuring that all activities are performed in-line with safe working practices and legislation
• Ensuring safe and compliant operations and activities on site
• Day to day management of the facility and operations team
• Ensure that planned and corrective maintenance is undertaken with a view to maximising efficiency and output
• Continuously working towards the optimisation and development of current processes to improve throughput and yield. Constantly driving the improvement of all lean and continuous improvement activities
• Set, supervise and be responsible for the site budget

Requirements:

• Must be qualified with BSc in an engineering/scientific discipline or equivalent experience
• Must have high SHEQ standards with a good knowledge of safety practices
• WAMITAB level 4 qualified
• Experience in an industrial related field, ideally Anaerobic Digestion or waste recycling, Chemical, Water, or other related industries
• Plant management and process manufacturing experience
• Experience of optimising and managing process parameters and delivering operational improvements
• Able to motivate a diversified base of individuals and the ability to manage changing and conflicting priorities
• A can-do mentality with a strong focus on solutions and delivery
• Influencing skills, flexible, business performance focus, structured, rigorous and methodical
• Operational Health and Safety qualification would be advantageous
