Green Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking a Director – Energy Solutions for a client that advances and administer tailored energy solutions.
Responsibilities:
Assessing on-site client facilities all over the UK and Continental Europe pursuing energy-saving opportunities
Retaining client contact from the initial stage to project completion
Help scripting and bestowing client proposals for new and existing customers
Evaluating current building systems and operational data determining energy performance and efficiency opportunities
Evaluating the viability of effective solutions and contribute to preparing and implementing their application
Arranging and leading project meetings (owners and subcontractors) allied to execution
Developing business by supporting the CEO
Scheduling client sites visits
Attending conferences
Assess and substantiate energy savings calculations and mentoring staffs in the finest applications for various energy savings technologies, including lighting, HVAC, fans, pumps, air compression, and industrial process usage
Organise and deliver presentations at meetings and training events for clients, partners, and other groups
Performing other duties as and when required
The Ideal Candidate:
A degree qualified candidate preferably with master’s in electrical OR/ mechanical engineering OR Physics OR Building Science
Chartered or working towards it as an associate of the Energy Institute, CIBSE (or similar) would be advantageous
Must have extensive experience (15+ years) in energy services or asset management of multiple asset types, with considerable practicable experience in reducing a building's energy consumption
Exceptional knowledge of energy efficiency or sustainability
Comprehensive knowledge of enormous structures and their mechanical and electrical systems, particularly HVAC design and BMS control systems
Applied experience in energy reduction concepts, energy modelling and calculations
BREEAM Assessor, LEED AP, or LCEA is desirable
Knowledgeable with BS16247 EN Standard - ISO 50001 and 14001 is desirable
Must be innovative with excellent problem-solving skills
Unmatched skills in quantitative analysis

Armed with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
Client facing with good commercial skills and competency in Business Development, proposals etc.
Language capability of French, Spanish, or German (any European language)

A strong communicator who is able to flex their style as appropriate to suit the audience and circumstances. Able to bring people “on the journey” with them.
