GRS is currently seeking a Plant Engineer for a leading player in the Anaerobic Digestion industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assuring the site runs to ideal capacity, expanding execution with maximum regard to health & safety and the environment
Organizing and conducting planned maintenance and breakdowns
Maintaining cost-effective, safe and proficient output
Monitoring the site’s planned preventative maintenance programme, assuring regular examining, supervising, checking and fixing the plant and equipment according to the obligatory standard
Functioning along the operations team and developing a record of permitted contractors and supervising their performance
Assuring the plant checks are effectively carried out regularly and corrective action is taken
Unceasingly advancing health & safety, environmental and operational principles and methods
Assisting the Site Manager and Senior Engineer
Being proactive and hands-on when required
Requirements:
Educated with electrical or mechanical engineering or similar
Must have relevant experience within anaerobic digestion (AD)
WAMITAB qualified
Well experienced with materials handling, confined spaces, working at heights and first aid
Fork lift license and skilled in operating a fork lift truck
Must have a full UK driving license
The salary for this position is £35,000 + allowance + bonus + overtime

A strategic thinker who is also able, willing and motivated to be “hands on” and work at the operational level. A strong communicator who is able to flex their style as appropriate to suit the audience and circumstances. Able to bring people “on the journey” with them.
