Biodiesel and AD Process Operator

Green Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking a Biodiesel and AD Process Operator to join a leader in Renewable Energy. The Anaerobic digestion (AD) plant generates the heat and power to run the biodiesel, which in turn, produces biodiesel from waste oils; achieving a step closer to their vision of 100% resource recovery, enabling the business to reduce emissions by 95%.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the productive operation of a biodiesel, fuel preparation and AD facility
• Plant shutdown and startup activities
• Conducting facility activities appropriately and securely, including filling and offloading bulk tankers and deliveries 
• Accomplishing maintenance and re-commissioning activities ensuring efficient and successful handover at the end of your shift
• Handling all allied documentation and administrative tasks
• Liaising with the Production and Maintenance Managers concerning any mechanical and process matters

Requirements:

• Experienced working within process industry background, ideally petrochemical or pharmaceutical, with a track record of working with hazardous chemicals  
• Experienced working with process control systems  
• IOSH qualified or equivalent
• City & Guilds Process Technology qualified
• Forklift truck license would be advantageous
• Good problem-solving skills
• Energetic, hands-on, structured and methodical

The salary for this position is £32,500 + bonus + benefits!
