Senior Climate Change Consultant

Green Recruitment Solutions are seeking a Senior Climate Change Consultant. Our Client is a leading multinational firm providing engineering and consulting services.

The role involves commercial and strategic considerations for development of networks, advising public sector and private clients regarding implementation. Developing project teams of consultants and delivering projects within the required field.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating risks and impacts of climate change
• Studying and examination of climate change mitigation
• Developing strong data through reworking and flexible actions for decision making
• Designing energy, emissions, cost, revenues and other related information on climate change and sustainability strategies

Essential Requirements:

• A degree qualified candidate experienced working within a Consultancy or/ and Advisory role
• Chartered status or working towards it
• Experienced in water, railway, highway and public sectors
• Experienced and has accomplishment within climate change strategy and policy, carbon/GHG modelling, climate change mitigation strategy and carbon management, climate change risk assessment, climate change adaptation and resilience planning, sustainable urban design, greenhouse gas measurement/modelling
• Project management experience
• Experience in preparing bids and winning new business
• Experienced collaborating and managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Well aware of climate change concept and its association with the planning, design and operation of the build environment
