Green Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting a Project Manager to join a leading player in the water sector. The role involves working with the technical team ensuring successfully projects delivery assuring that all Health and Safety regulatory obligations and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage activities of all project sites using project management tools
  • Preparing project bids which include cost and budgeted income, time, method and standard in association with the technical team; presenting those to the client, negotiating a settlement under framework settlement
  • Plan, define and manage the deliverable resource requirements for each client project
  • Ensure the achievement of defined project goals in terms of scope, quality, time and budget
  • Ensure that resources are delivered in the right quantity, condition, and on time within the financial requirement of each project
  • Point of contact throughout all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Defining and monitoring efficiency, effectiveness and success of the operations activities using adequate controlling tools
  • Prepare and submit Management Information Reports to Senior Management
  • Liaise with internal departments for an effective delivery of projects
  • Motivate the teams to perform their roles to the best of their ability, ensure performance and development reviews are undertaken in a timely manner
  • Co-ordinate activities of all staff and sub-contractors on site
  • Ascertaining the client's requirements; successfully resulting in the expectations
  • Building, maintaining and managing client relationships
  • Lead review of client satisfaction surveys

Essential Requirements:

  • Engineering/ Civil qualification with experience of working in a similar role
  • Chartered Status or working towards it
  • Experience in using project management tools is highly desirable - APMP/PRINCE2 or MS Project abilities
  • Project, planning, change and time management abilities
  • Delivering projects to the required standard and within the time limit
  • Strong knowledge of H&S in Construction regulations, specifically CDM regulations
  • Cordial and professional with excellent client facing skills; this requires effective communication skills both verbally and in written form
  • Flexible – the role will require managing several sites
  • Full clean driving license
  • No averse to travel
