Green Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking a Senior Energy Consultant to join a multinational engineering firm. You will be responsible for delivering services across major public and private sectors. You will also be provided with assistance and will be advised by the technical specialists as and when required.

You will also manage projects and tasks leading towards becoming a certified Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating energy data, BeMS logs and other functional facts for recognising scopes for energy depletion and building performance optimisation
  • Producing Life cycle cost and managing energy audits
  • Supporting the team in delivering ESOS phase 2 compliance for clients
  • Evaluations of POE
  • Developing strong data on energy framework supporting the development of energy and carbon management strategies for clients
  • Collaborating with the design team for analysing and specifying energy efficient and low carbon buildings and technologies
  • Assisting the district heating team for producing techno-economic models and feasibility studies for low carbon district heating and CHP projects
  • Specifying and directing the establishment of energy monitoring equipment at client sites and collecting analysed data
  • Assisting in tender preparation and proposals

Essential Requirements:

  • BSc/ MSc degree in engineering or other similar related discipline
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Experienced working on large complex datasets and calculations
  • Knowledgeable with technicalities of building services and renewable energy systems
  • Able to work within the estimated time and cost
  • Familiar with Building Management Systems and other software packages
  • Experience collaborating teams for advancing performance and daily operational support
  • Experienced in managing and building good working relationships
  • Experienced with optimization techniques for performance efficiency of power generation plants
  • Experienced with SAP modelling and/or IES/ EPC/ DEC
