Senior/ Principal Energy Engineer

Green Recruitment Solutions are seeking a Senior/ Principal Energy Engineer for an international engineering consultancy.

You will be responsible for various activities, from detailed analysis, modelling and designing. You will be leading projects and managing client relationships (energy clients from estate managers, property developers, local and regional government to national level policy related work).

Ideal Requirements:

• A Senior Engineer degree educated in mechanical, electrical, civil or other related engineering disciplines with a Chartered status or working towards it
• Experience working within the utility industry and international projects
• Project management experience
• Experienced with calculations for GHG emissions
• Experienced and knowledgeable with building integrated and utility-scale energy systems
• Knowledgeable in designing complex plants, energy centres, CHP, district heating, electricity generation and renewables
• Familiar with self-lay, ICP, IGT, IDNO and ESCo arrangements
• Energy and heat mapping experience
• Large-scale master planning and techno-economic modelling experience
• Energy software such as EnergyPro, Termis, NetSIM, ETAP etc. experience
• Experience in AutoCAD or/ and Revit
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for successful application of energy systems and utility strategies
• Assisting with the technical proposals
• Building and maintaining client relationships
• Liaising with clients
• Well aware of UK energy policies and regulatory
• Has strong communication skills
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Flexible to travel
