Green Recruitment Solutions are seeking a Business Development Manager for a leading energy solutions and energy storage business. The role involves reporting to the Business Development Director and developing the energy storage business through new business and ongoing development of key client accounts

Responsibilities:

  • To drive and win new business from the dedicated region
  • Current sales development of heat sources and green gas solutions
  • To deliver and exceed on budgetary targets
  • Associating with partners for advancing investment framework for long-term projects
  • Analyzing sales leads and pertinent associates, authorities and government agencies 
  • Build client relationships and capitalise on new business opportunities
  • Win new contracts and bring in revenue for the business
  • Determining the value of offers for the advancement of quotes and proposals
  • Recognising and analyzing public funding opportunities
  • To consolidate and produce weekly/ monthly sales reports
  • Working in association with the multi-disciplinary teams
  • To communicate market intelligence to the business
  • To maintain an accurate and credible pipeline to ensure target results are delivered

Essential Requirements:

  • A well-experienced professional with the ability of networking
  • Proven ability to generate enquiries and improve marketing ventures
  • Has the potential for transforming ideas into commercial opportunities
  • Business plans modelling experience
  • Knowledge of UK public funding options for renewable energy
  • Technical and sales background in Renewables, Biomass or HVAC
  • Good knowledge of business/financial management
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Willingness to learn and train
  • Prepared to travel
