Green Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to join an international manufacturer of heavy plant and recycling machinery.
Responsibilities:
As a Field based Service Engineer, you will be responding to unscheduled breakdowns and scheduled maintenance delivered at customer sites
Diagnose, service and repair a range of technical issues consisting of an electrical, hydraulic and/ or mechanical nature
Carry out preventative maintenance to all machinery and installations when necessary
To communicate at all levels
Essential Requirements:
A qualified and experienced Engineer with hands-on experience of Electrical, Mechanical and hydraulics fault finding and repair
Familiar with PLC control systems
Experienced in reading electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematics
A dignified and professional Service Engineer with high standards, reflecting the company brand and core values at all times
An excellent communicator and customer oriented at all times
Not averse to travel
The salary for this position is €60,000 including OT

A strategic thinker who is also able, willing and motivated to be “hands on” and work at the operational level. A strong communicator who is able to flex their style as appropriate to suit the audience and circumstances. Able to bring people “on the journey” with them.
