'Green Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking an experienced Investment Associate to join a leading sustainable energy investment firm to manage funds of over €300m globally through offices throughout the United Kingdom and Singapore. The role holder will assist in the execution of new investment opportunities and with the management of the existing portfolio of companies, monetisation of portfolio investments, raising additional funds and be involved in the whole life cycle of the deal process, typically as part of a two-man deal team.
Responsibilities:
Support and originate new transactions in the energy efficiency and renewable space
Attend meetings with management teams and help maintain key relationships
Develop and own financial modelling and valuation work stream
Preparing investment papers and presentations for internal and external use
Managing the due diligence process with third parties
Assist other team members to measure and monitor the performance of portfolio companies, as well as help to implement operational changes and monetisation
Assisting to prepare materials for meetings with potential investors
Essential Requirements:
At least 3 years of relevant financial industry experience with an investment or commercial bank, private equity firm, asset management firm or auditing/financial consulting firm
Strong financial modelling skills
Be proactive, with ability to take on a high degree of responsibly and to execute critical work streams with limited supervision
Motivation to work in a buyside team with focus on value creation through deal structuring
Ability to think critically to assess investment opportunities
Degree educated (or equivalent)

A strategic thinker who is also able, willing and motivated to be “hands on” and work at the operational level. A strong communicator who is able to flex their style as appropriate to suit the audience and circumstances. Able to bring people “on the journey” with them.
